Wrap Up (The One Where I Finally Kicked That Book Slump I Didn't Quite Realize I Was In)

Yeah, I was in a bit of a book slump, but I don't think I realized how bad it was until I started reading regularly again. I think, actually, I've been in this slump since February or March (which actually makes sense when I look back at my mental health around that time of the year... so does this mean things are turning up? I hope so). I think I can thank JK Rowling for this- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child may not have been the best book but it got me to sit down and read it in two or three sittings, which hasn't happened in ages. So, yes, there is still magic with this book.

Finished this Week
Well, Cursed Child, obviously, and then I raced through Blue Lily, Lily Blue and The Graces, both of which deserve the five stars I'm giving them. Reviews for all to come!

Currently Reading
Elantris! I meant to pick this up right after BLLB but got distracted (happily!) by The Graces, which was an ARC. So, now I'm knee deep in this book and let me just tell you, only one hundred pages in and I'm so invested in everyone. I love returning to Brandon's writing and I'm glad I get to explore this new corner (for me) of the Cosmere. If I finish this before the week ends I'll be picking up Crown of Midnight to reread.

    1. But you were so close to the end haha! It's a weird series though.

I love his books their so good! If you ever want to start one I recommend starting with Mistborn: The Final Empire because it's absolutely breathtaking.

    1. It's certainly really strange. Kinda like reading fan fiction. But yeah, it did pick me up (maybe because it was such a quick read and reminded me why I liked to read).
