May and June Wrap Up + Updates

Hello dear readers! It's been ages since a wrap up, which is how I knew it was time to post one. I'm pretty proud of the amount of reading I've been able to accomplish this summer, and also the amount of reviews I've been able to write. It has been slow, but it's also been steady (and you can expect next month to have more posts because I have a bit of a backlog at this point, oops). I know the last wrap up promised a lot, but those promises have to stay on hold for just a little longer. My new job has kept me busier than intended and I'm still adjusting.

The Eye of the Queen
The Humans
All That She Can See
A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Dressmaker and the Prince
Circles in the Stream
Be Prepared
The Hunter's Moon
Blood Rose Rebellion
Leviathan Wakes
All Summer Long

Upcoming Posts
Reviews for Vicious, Blood Rose RebellionLeviathan Wakes, and Legendary are in the works, as well as a combined review of The Dressmaker and the Prince, Be Prepared, and All Summer Long.
I'll also (finally) be posting my spoiler-filled review of Infinity War and another installment in "debut's to be excited for".

Currently Reading
I'm just shy of 100 pages in The Cruel Prince, which I'm enjoying but also not seeing what all the hype was for (yet, at least), and then I'll be reading West, My Lady Jane, and Caliban's War. I'm also hoping to stop at the library and stock up on some spur-of-the-moment books.

Upcoming Reads
I have a bunch of books I really want to get to this summer and while it's still to far away to say for certain when I'll get to them, I thought I'd share.
Letter for the King
Call for the Dead
My Plain Jane
Google It!
Sky in the Deep
 The Wrath and the Dawn

Any books you recommend that I must, must, MUST pick up?

  1. Awesome wrap up post! I'm also so impressed that you've been able to read so much. How do you manage to do all of that?? Excited for your next set of reviews (and for your debuts to be excited for" post, that seems awesome!!).

    1. Haha I honestly have no idea how I managed to read so many books it was a kinda crazy month in that regard. I guess it's probably because the majority of the books I've been reading are too good to put down. Yay! I'm looking forward to posting all my reviews! I let some of them sit way too long, oopsie :) Thanks for stopping by!

    2. That's always the best feeling, when the books are way too good to put down. I'm glad life didn't get too in the way, too, so you were able to actually read them!

(Also, I'm catching up to responding to your replies, for some reason, WordPress doesn't notify me when you respond to my comments, so I'm sorry about not replying!!)

  2. How did you like Vicious? I need to give that one a second chance. I put it down last time after 30 pages. I wasn't feeling it.

    1. I adored Vicious and it's honestly one of my favorites. I'd definitely recommend picking it up again. For me the moment when I couldn't put it down was around chapter 18, if that helps as a marker for giving it a second try.

  3. Wow, you got a lot of reading done. The only one I’ve read is Vicious, which I liked. I hope you have a good July!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

    1. I know I read a pretty crazy amount for myself this time around. Thank you, and have a lovely July, yourself!

  4. I can't wait to see your thoughts on My Lady Jane!

    1. I just finished it and OMG I loved it! It was so cute and way different than anything else I've read.

Thank you so much for commenting! I love to hear from you and try to respond to comments once or twice a week. Thank you for your patience :)
