I adored the first book in this series, The Graces, and was extremely excited to see this pop up on my Facebook feed. If you haven't picked up the first book yet I rather recommend it.

Why I'm Waiting

I wasn't as taken with the first book in this series as I was with Sullivan's previous work, but now that a lot of the groundwork for this world has been laid and all the characters are set up I think I will be more than happy with this one. Also, this cover is so much more than I expected! I love it!

This isn't my typical genre, but this book was making waves as soon as it was announced and I think it's going to be a very important book for multiple reasons.

First, the cover was what caught my interest, but honestly the synopsis sounds pretty good! I still haven't read either Star-Touched Queen of Wrath and the Dawn, but I think I'll be fans of all three of these.

First of all, Leigh Bardugo is a goddess and anything she writes is gold. Second of all, Wonder Woman is just amazing. Third of all, this cover and this title! I'm so stoked for this one.

I've only read the first two books in this series so far but I loved them to death. The publication of this one gives me an excuse to finish the series and read this one, which sounds amazing.

I still haven't read the first one, but I've heard really good things and I love Victoria Schwab's writing. Once this comes out I'll be able to binge the duet together (which sounds perfect).

I loved Rebel of the Sands (review here) and I've been anticipating this one for a while. However... the cover change makes me sad. While I do love this new cover, and replacement for the original of Rebel cover (link here; yes I know the link doesn't go to the American version but that's the new cover regardless) I miss the stylized art of the original covers. And, now they won't match :(

I wasn't a huge fan of the first book when I read it earlier this year, but I do want to see where the series goes and since it's only a duet I'm not worried about investing a lot of time. Plus, these covers are just so pretty, I can't help but want it on my shelf!

I unexpectedly enjoyed And I Darken and absolutely cannot wait for this book to release. Not to mention the cover! I can't decide if I like this one more or the previous.

Well, I just about adore the Lunar Chronicles to death (even though I haven't read Winter yet....) and I'm super excited to see Iko get a story of her own! I remember when she was introduced in Cinder and I thought she would just be the annoying sidekick and she turned out to be so much more! Plus, it's a graphic novel, and i think this is just the perfect series to continue this way.

It was a combination of the striking title and even more striking cover that caught my interest for this one, but after reading the synopsis I was sold. I have a soft spot for necromancers and, well, throwing around big names like Memoirs of a Geisha and Name of the Wind has me curious.

I really loved the first book in this series, but rather disliked the second one.  The way the second one ended I am rather excited for this one, though.  We'll see where this series goes.  I think this book could really save it all for me.

I haven't read The Star-Touched Queen yet (don't yell at me, I'm getting to it soon!) but according to everyone it's amazing and I fully expect to love it; even without all the praise it sounds like something I'm going to adore.  And this sequel? It sounds amazing on its own. (Also, this cover!!!!)

This has been one of my most anticipated 2017 debuts since I stumbled upon it a few months ago while wasting time on Goodreads.  It sounds amazing and I'm a huge fan of non-western fantasy starting to take a leading role in the genre.  Also, this cover?  Makes me swoon every time!  Can't wait to see it on my shelf.

The Winds of Winter is the forthcoming sixth novel in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin.
The previous installment, A Dance with Dragons, covered less story than Martin intended, omitting at least one planned large battle sequence and leaving several character threads ending in cliffhangers. Martin intends to resolve these cliffhangers "very early" in The Winds of Winter, saying "I'm going to open with the two big battles that I was building up to, the battle in the ice and the battle at Meereen—the battle of Slaver's Bay. And then take it from there."

Why I'm Waiting

 I'm rereading the first two books and then reading the final three and I really do love this series.  I may not be caught up with the books, but I do know what's going on (thanks to the internet and my friends) and I couldn't be more excited to see what happens next!

The Winds of Winter will release whenever George RR Martin finishes writing it, LOL

This is one of my most anticipated books for next year and I'm practically dying waiting for this one! It sounds like an awesome read, and the whole trilogy will be published pretty close together, so there won't be a huge wait between books.
