Top 15 Reads of 2015

I read so many good books this year!  I decided to pick the top fifteen, which was incredibly hard, I must admit.  I chose only to include novels, and leave out graphic novels and manga.  So, without further ado, here we go:

1. The Mistborn Series

2. Red Rising/Golden Son

3. Cress

4. The Enchanted

5. Shadow and Bone

6. Girl of Fire and Thorns

7. Halo Bound

8. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender

9. The Mermaid's Sister

10. Queen of Shadows

11. World After

12. A Court of Thorns and Roses

13. The Martian

14. The Vanishing Girl

15. Masters of Blood and Bone

While the year isn't over yet, I doubt I'll finish anything that makes it onto this list.

  1. Some of these I still haven't gotten to. But I have to say I love Rae Carson. Of that series, the second was my favorite.

    1. I really need to finish that series in the new year, because the first one was fantastic.

  2. Great list!! I still have to read Throne of Glass, but that is definitely at the top of my TBR list for the new year. I read Cinder this year and already have a copy of Scarlet. That is another series I hope to finish in 2016.

    1. Throne of Glass is really great; I think you'll enjoy it. The Lunar Chronicles are so good. I still need to read Winter, and will be ASAP.

    1. I read the whole Angelfall series, and while I enjoyed them all, World After just blew me out of the water for some reason.

  4. I read Shadow and Bone a couple of weeks ago, and while it was a decent read, I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be. I did love ACOTAR and Cress, (I read Cress last year and it was so freaking good) and I've heard really great things about Red Rising. I purchased it last year for Christmas and here we are an entire year later and I still haven't read it, oops lol.

    1. My first reaction upon finishing Shadow and Bone was pretty much "it was good" and then move on, but it seems I keep thinking about it and I keep being drawn back to it, so subconsciously, it seems, it became a favorite. I'm looking forward to finishing the series.

Red Rising is good, but Golden Son is MIND BLOWING AMAZING. I definitely recommend it, and since the final book comes out in february you won't have to suffer through the cliff-hangers if you choose to read it.

      Thanks for stopping by!
