This week I'm waiting on My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows
Here's the description taken from Goodreads:
For fans of The Princess Bride comes the comical, fantastical, romantical, (not) entirely true story of Lady Jane Grey.
Lady Jane Grey, sixteen, is about to be married to a total stranger—and caught up in an insidious plot to rob her cousin, King Edward, of his throne. But that’s the least of Jane’s problems. She’s about to become Queen of England. Like that could go wrong.
Why I'm Waiting
How about those A-List writers? How about the awesome premise? How about I don't need a reason to be excited for this one, I just am, okay?
My Lady Jane comes out June 7th, 2016
I'm totally excited for this one too! Very nice pick :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds very good plus it has some stellar talent writing it!
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
I hadn't heard of this one before, but it sounds like it would be really good! I love the history of the British monarchy, so, even though it's not truely factual, I think I'd really enjoy it. Great pick! Thanks for visiting my blog and following me! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's that the blurb describes this as comical that grabs -- humour is the hardest to pull off in writing I think! I hope it's good! Here's mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2015/12/16/wow-rebel-of-the-sands/
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! I'm really looking forward to this one as well. I love all three of these authors and the summary sounds so good!
