Lauren's Questions
1. What is your favorite food?
Get ready for one strange answer. My favorite food is Campbell's Vegetarian Vegetable soup with pepperoni on the side and also soaked up in it. It's very strange, but even just thinking about it makes me hungry... I think I'll go make some as soon as I finish this post, actually.
2. How many languages do you know?
English is my first language, but I can read French really well and can speak it a little. I can also read Latin rather well and write in it a bit and can say a few choice phrases. I've also been meaning to learn Russian and I know how to say "Yes this is a house" because, obviously, that's the most important thing I need to know.
3. Describe the last book you read using only one word.
Dark
4. What books are you currently reading?
And I Darken is my main read, but on the side I've been dipping into rereading A Clash of Kings and a book about George Washington.
5. Of all the unread books on your bookshelf, which has been there the longest?
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. For the longest time I kept meaning to get to it, but now I think that's just lying to myself. I loved Vampire Academy, but Bloodlines didn't blow me away, and I'm not really interested in that world anymore.
6. What is the last dream you recall?
Some nightmares I had a few nights ago.
7. How long have you been blogging?
About a year and a half, now!
My Questions
1. What's your favorite place to read?
2. How many countries have you visited?
3. What was the last book you read and would you recommend it?
4. What are you currently reading?
5. How do you organize the books on your shelf?
6. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
7. How long have you been blogging?

Thanks for the shout out, Sam, and for taking part! :)
ReplyDeleteThat soup does sound pretty good actually...does that make me weird, too?
I would like to be able to read some Latin, more than just the standard phrases, I mean.
LOL maybe? It's a bizarre food and I don't know how I discovered I liked it but I would recommend it for sure!
DeleteIt's really nice to be reading a book and randomly come across some latin in it (as is, I'm finding, surprisingly common in YA) and know what it's saying! I want to continue it at some point, too, because I'd love to speak it fluently (even though it would be pointless it would be funny to just yell at someone in latin or something).
YES, AND I DARKEN! I've started it too and I'm really enjoying it - what do you think? I'm loving the historical component. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nomination!
I adore it! I just finished it and it was very nearly perfect. The historical element was gorgeous!
DeleteYou're welcome!
I want to read And I Darken really bad! It sounds awesome. I'm curious about the book on George Washington, did you ever finish it? Thank you again for the tag!
ReplyDeleteIt was so good! I haven't had the chance to finish it yet, no, but I really want to because just the little bit I've gotten through is pretty fantastic. Thanks for stopping by!
