  1. How intriguing. I just bought The Lighting Thief and am planning to dive into Percy Jackson for the first time. I'd love to get into these books too. Thanks for sharing and happy reading!

  3. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Percy Jackson series. (I know... it was really popular, I just felt kind of 'meh' about it)

But this series seems to be for a slightly older target audience so I might give this series a chance.

    1. I read Percy Jackson when it was coming out and I was much younger and if I were to read it for the first time now that I'm older I don't know if I would enjoy it as much. This series does certainly have an older feel, though, and I was surprised by this when I went into it. Might be worth checking out if you want to give it a try :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I am like Marie I was not overly fond of Percy Jackson but I would not be against trying a different series by Rick Riordan. Happy Friday!

    1. I love how he mixes mythology with the modern world. I haven't seen it done anywhere else quite so well.

      Thanks for stopping by :)
