Waiting on Wednesday: Winter

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted over at Breaking the Spine and you should totally go check them out.

This week I'm waiting on Winter by Marissa Meyer; something I think a lot of people will be waiting on.  This is the final installment of the Lunar Chronicles, so I hope it's understandable if I don't post the description.  Rather, here's the link to it's goodreads page: Winter.

Quick confession: I still haven't read Cress.  *hides in corner away from the judging eyes*  My only excuse- I'm a lazy person.  Though, in reality, I'm waiting to read Cress until Winter's release is a little closer.  It doesn't come out until November this year, so I have some time.

What are you waiting for this week?  Leave a link in your comment and I'll check it out!

UPDATE: A day after I posted this the cover was revealed, so I thought I'd add it to the bottom of this post.  Bask in its glory!

I actually really enjoy the cover.  I think Cinder is still my favorite, but this may be a close second.

  1. I get it. I thought that the Lunar Chronicles was a trilogy and didn't read Scarlet until Cress was out. Thanks for stopping by my WoW.

    1. When I started reading Cinder I couldn't believe how closely it stuck to the original story and still kept a unique identity. They're very good, I really recommend. Thanks for stopping my!

  4. I've never read this series, it doesn't really appeal to me, but I know a lot of people who love the series. I'm excited for them because I know how badly they want to read Winter. Excellent pick!

  5. I've only read the first book in this series, but I do own the next two, so I should read them soon! I didn't realize there was going to be a 4th book in the series. The cover is absolutely gorgeous!

    1. I agree about the cover! I'm actually glad there's a fourth. I feel like there are so many trilogies out right now that it helps break things up. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. I am SO EXCITED for Winter! In fact, there's a good chance it will be showing up on my WoW entry next week since I was holding out for the cover reveal and excerpt. I did not read Cress until this year, because Fairest was coming out near the day I read it. However, I still haven't read Fairest because I am trying to prolong my excitement for this series.

    1. I'll stop by your WOW next week for sure. I think part of my waiting to read Cress and Fairest is also to prolong the series. I don't want it to end. Thanks for stopping by!
