(n.) buying books and not reading them; letting books pile up unread on shelves or floors or nightstands
"Perhaps someday, if they survived, they would look back on it and laugh, but not now. The three of them had agreed never to speak of it. What happened in Albania would stay in Albania."
How intriguing. I just bought The Lighting Thief and am planning to dive into Percy Jackson for the first time. I'd love to get into these books too. Thanks for sharing and happy reading!
Both series are top notch, and I hope you enjoy Percy Jackson as much as I did! Thanks for stopping by!
This sound like an exciting read. I am looking for something different, I may give this one a try. Here is my Friday 56http://totallyaddictedtoreading.blogspot.com/2015/07/friday-56-8.html?zx=ead6d511d75f3f5a
I certainly recommend it. The whole series is very good. Thanks for stopping by :)
I wasn't the biggest fan of the Percy Jackson series. (I know... it was really popular, I just felt kind of 'meh' about it)But this series seems to be for a slightly older target audience so I might give this series a chance.
I read Percy Jackson when it was coming out and I was much younger and if I were to read it for the first time now that I'm older I don't know if I would enjoy it as much. This series does certainly have an older feel, though, and I was surprised by this when I went into it. Might be worth checking out if you want to give it a try :)Thanks for stopping by!
I am like Marie I was not overly fond of Percy Jackson but I would not be against trying a different series by Rick Riordan. Happy Friday!
I love how he mixes mythology with the modern world. I haven't seen it done anywhere else quite so well. Thanks for stopping by :)
Now I wonder what happened in Albania... lol Great 56!Happy weekend!
Haha me, too! Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
