Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can click her to join up in the fun. This week is frequently used words in [insert genre] books. I think we can all agree that there's only so much originality in titles these days but it's often a bit of fun to point these things out. Without further ado:

Top Ten Books I Wish Would Be Adapted as Movies or Television
Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week a new prompt is posted and you can participate by visiting her blog and linking up.
This week was a freebie so I thought I'd do something I've been thinking about a lot: which books I've read that I think will do well as televisions or movies. I'm not counting three of my favorite series-- ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, and The Kingkiller Chronicles-- because they're all on their own little paths to being adapted at the moment. Suffice it to say I'm pretty excited for all those adaptations. Here are some books that I have no idea where they stand in Hollywood at the moment but dearly hope my wishes will come true and someday they'll be on screen.
Now, in no particular order, here they are:

Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR
It's been a while since I partook in this meme (in fact, the last time I posted was April 2016) but now that I have my feet under me again I'm ready to participate. I know I won't be posting every week but I think it's safe to say this will become a regular part of Tsundoku again.
Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week a new prompt is posted and you can participate by visiting her blog and linking up.
In no particular order here are the top ten books I am excited to dive into this season:

Top Ten Blogs You Must Be Following
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
These are in no particular order, and I love every single blog here. I forced myself to choose only ten, because I didn't want to go overboard. Likewise, I forced myself to choose only blogs (and not tumblr, twitter, or instagram accounts) for the same reason. Here we go:
Christina @ Books and Prejudice
Lauren @ Always Me
Natalie @ Netflix and Books
Mariah @ Vibin With Books
Brittany @ Brittany's Book Reviews
Shayna @ The Bibliotaph
Alicia @ A Kernal of Nonsense
Jen and April @ Starry-Eyed Review
Michelle @ Michelle's Minion's
Tracy @ Cornerfolds
So those are just some of the blogs that you just NEED to follow. Seriously. I'm serious. Maybe I'll do another one of these because this was a bit of fun and there are so many other blogs to spotlight!

Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish
I haven't done a Top Ten Tuesday in a while, simply because they take time and I don't really like all the themes each week. I do like doing it occasionally, though, so I plan to do it sporadically.
This week the theme is top ten books on my spring TBR, but I don't actually know if these are my top ten, per say. It's more like, these are the next ten I plan to read (as of now). I expect these to change at some point, but would like to get to most, if not all of these.
1. Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge
2. Winter
3. The Trick to Landing
4. Glass Sword
5. Me Before You
6. The Devil and the Bluebird
7. A Court of Mist and Fury
8. Wild Swans
9. The Crown's Game
10. The Serpents Shadow
What are you guys looking forward to reading this season?

Top Ten Books Without Covers (Yet)
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
I haven't done one of these since... September. Wow! I stopped doing these for a while because they took up so much time and I didn't always like the prompts. So I'll be doing these sporadically when I like the prompts and since this week is a freebie I thought I'd go for it.
Like any good book nerd I get excited for books before they have covers, and sometimes before they even have titles. So today, in no particular order, I'm doing books that I'm excited for that don't have covers (yet). I'm sure I'll have missed some, since there are so many books yet-to-be.
1. The Song Rising
I have this one pre-ordered and it's a drop everything and read book for me.
2. Strange the Dreamer
Laini Taylor is writing a new series and I'm so excited! I have this one pre-ordered, too.
Okay, so I have a weakness for star-crossed lover stories and a weakness for necromancer stories and this is a blend of both.
4. Throne of Glass #5
This one doesn't even have a title yet but I'm obviously excited!
5. Gemina
This is the sequel to Illuminae, which I loved, so I'm stoked for this release.
Holly Black writing about fairies? Count me in, even if this doesn't come out until 2018.
Another Shadowhunter's series? Well, yes, please, and the sooner the better.
Another one without a proper title, but I'm ready. I'm not a huge Jodi Meadows fan (in which I mean I just haven't devoured all of her works yet so I don't feel comfortable calling myself a true fan) but this one sounds so good!
9. Oathbringer
I'm halfway through Words of Radiance and I love it to death, so yes, I'm very excited for this one.
10. Age of Myth
For this one I know you're thinking, Sam, that has a cover. Well, technically, yes, it does have a cover, and a cover that won't be changing to much (read: the art will stay the same). But, and there's a but, the font will possibly change, so I'm not counting this as a final cover! Basically, I just needed an excuse to pin this one up here since it's one of my most anticipated reads of my lifetime (I kid you not, I am that excited for this book!).
P.S. Click on the pictures/title to be taken to the Goodreads page.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books To Read if You Like ________
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine. Click here to join in on the fun.
This week's theme is pretty much If You Like _____ Then You'll Like _____. This was a bit harder to do, but I had a lot of fun doing it. These are in no particular order.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in on the fun.
This week is one of my favorite themes to do because I love looking at all the books on my shelf and deciding what to venture into next. For the one's I've included here, I don't know when I'll get to them exactly, just that I probably will during the fall.

Top Ten Tuesday: Epic Fantasy 101
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in on the fun!
This week was something along the lines of "complete a syllabus as if you taught (insert genre) 101" and so that's exactly what I've done. View this post as a guide map if you're new to epic fantasy or looking for something new. I hope you enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in on the fun!
This was another really fun, but really hard theme to do. There are lots of authors I wish I could say were auto-buy authors, but I just sort of lost track of some of them and are so behind on their books and series I can't buy anymore just to own them. So here's a list of authors that I will follow to the ends of the earth, no matter what they write.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Authors I've Read the Most Books From
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in on the fun.
This was a really fun one to do, because I was able to actually figure out who I've read the most from. I was sorta surprised by what I discovered.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Fairytale Retellings
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in the fun.
This week is top ten fairy tale retellings, whether you've read them or not. Well, I bent the rules a little and actually pulled in a couple of movies. I love, love, love retellings, though I'm rather picky about choosing ones to read or watch. Here are my absolute favorites, in order.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books that Celebrate Diversity/Diverse Characters
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Click here to join in on the meme.
So this week I'm a little ashamed... I don't read that many diverse books. It's not because I avoid them, but I don't exactly seek them out. Which means that, instead of ten books, I only have five. So, please, help me out! Recommend some books that are full of diversity, please!

Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books I Recently Bought
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to be taken to their website.
I know that this week's theme is ten books to recently come into my possession, but I feel like I just did that in my weekly wrap up and I don't want to repeat that. So, instead, I'm doing the last ten books I bought in hardcopy. This gets rid of all the ARC's and galley's I've recently received (there are many) and the abundance of eBooks I've gotten. In no particular order...

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Hyped Books I've Never Read
This week's theme is actually Top Ten Top Ten Posts; click here if you want to be taken to the host's The Broke and the Bookish and join in on the fun. I'm not doing that posts for two reasons, 1) I haven't been doing these for very long and I wouldn't have a huge amount to choose from, and, 2) I won't be around for the next two weeks and wanted to do one of those instead. That's the main reason. I haven't talked about it much, yet, and I'll have more details in this week's wrap up, but I'll be away for two whole weeks. Anyway, without further ado, here are the top ten (or so) books I that have incredible hype but I've never read, and may never read. (They're in no particular order.)

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books on Summer TBR
Top ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to be taken to their website and join in on the fun.
I feel like I sort of already did this one back at the end of May with Top Ten Books I Plan to Have in My Summer Bag. You can click on the link to be taken to that one, if you're interested. The books I picked this week are all ones I'm fairly certain I'll get to this summer. 90% sure I'll be reading many of them within the month. So, here they are, in order of least to most excited to read.
10. Day 21 (The 100, #2) by Kass Morgan
9. Because of Low (Sea Breeze, #2) by Abbi Glines
8. Blood Ties (Spirit Animals, #3) by Garth Nix
7. The Duke's Holiday (The Regency Romp Trilogy, #1) by Maggie Fenton
6. The Duchess War (Brother's Sinister, #1) by Courtney Milan
5. I'll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios
4. Rise of the Evening Star (Fablehaven, #2) by Brandon Mull

1. Hell Bent (Redneck Apocalypse, #2) by eden Hudson

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I'd Love to See on Screen
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to be taken to their blog and participate! This week I have the top books that I would love to see play out on screen, whether big or small.
10. Cinder
I feel like this will be a popular one this week. The Lunar Chronicles lend themselves to what could be a beautiful and colorful movie series.
9. A Darker Shade of Magic
This is another I think would make a great movie. I think that the magic system would be the greatest thing to see in action, and would love to see how they tackled Kell's jacket.
8. The Selection
Twice. The CW tried to make this a show twice. I'm still not ready to give up hope that it will eventually make it onto a screen somewhere.
7. Riyria Revelations
If you know me, you know I love this series to death. I think it'd work well on TV in a sort of mini-series format. Like, short, six episode seasons. As much as I'd like to see it on TV, I don't want it over-complicated. It's already perfect and, in my opinion, shouldn't be added to.
6. Graceling
If this could be a movie that'd be great. It's another magic system that I just want to see in action so bad!
5. Daughter of Smoke and Bone
I'm pretty sure this is in production somewhere? but I could be wrong. It would make for such a cool movie, but the two sequels are so long, they'd each need to be split into two movies each.
4. Let the Sky Fall
Is it weird that I've always sort of pictured this one as a classic Disney princess movie? I think it's be adorable in that format, and I feel it could still tell the same story.
3. American Gods
I know Stars has the rights to this one, and I'm really hoping it works out. More than anything else, I want to see who they cast.
2. Throne of Glass
This would make such a great TV series. I don't know where they could go wrong!
1. Mistborn
And of course, this would be my ultimate wish- to see Mistborn on screen. While reading it, I pictured an anime series, honestly. I think that it'd have to be animated in order to get all the magic right, but I'd be okay with anything just to see it on screen.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I plan to Have in My Summer Beach Bag
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Click here to be taken to their website.
This week I've put together a list of ten books/series that I'm looking forward to reading this summer. I actually get to spend time at the beach over this fourth of July weekend and plan on having a few of these with me.
This week I've put together a list of ten books/series that I'm looking forward to reading this summer. I actually get to spend time at the beach over this fourth of July weekend and plan on having a few of these with me.
10. Barely Breathing
I read the first one about this time last year. While it was a bit heavy, I want to see where the series goes. It ended with one hell of a cliffhanger, to be sure.
9. The Summer I Turned Pretty
This one has been sitting on my Kindle for about two years. And before that I was eyeing it at the library. Maybe this is finally the summer I read it.
8. Catching Jordan
My friend raves about this one all the time. Looking forward to reading it.
7. In Between
This was free on the Kindle awhile ago, and it still may be. It sounds right up my alley and I'm actually surprised I haven't gotten to it sooner.
6. Paper Towns
I just picked this one up, and I'm already really excited. I've Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars, and while I liked them, I didn't love them. Road trip books, though, are on a whole other level, so I'm super excited for this one.
5. Lock and Key
I love Sarah Dessen, and I've been eager to start this one. Her books just scream "summer" to me, since it was last summer that I read my firsts. Ready to dig into many more, of which Lock and Key is only the first.
4. The Rock Star's Daughter
If the cover doesn't scream beach-read, I don't know what does.
3. On the Fence
This is another recent pick-up for me. I haven't read anything by Kasie West yet, though I've been collecting her books for some time. It's going to be a great summer read.
2. The Dust of 100 Dogs
My excitement for this one knows no bounds. I love pirate stories, and for me they just seem like beach reads. I'm hoping this lives up to everything I've heard about it. Finger's crossed it's good.
1. The Heroes of Olympus Series
I have four of the five books now and have plans to binge read them over vacation. These are for sure going to be read this summer and I'm so very excited.
What are your beach reads?
