This week's theme is actually Top Ten Top Ten Posts; click here if you want to be taken to the host's The Broke and the Bookish and join in on the fun. I'm not doing that posts for two reasons, 1) I haven't been doing these for very long and I wouldn't have a huge amount to choose from, and, 2) I won't be around for the next two weeks and wanted to do one of those instead. That's the main reason. I haven't talked about it much, yet, and I'll have more details in this week's wrap up, but I'll be away for two whole weeks. Anyway, without further ado, here are the top ten (or so) books I that have incredible hype but I've never read, and may never read. (They're in no particular order.)
The Last Two Books in the Twilight Saga
I read the first two ages ago when they came out, but was never a huge fan and never found a reason to finish the series. This series doesn't really get talked about anymore, but it had its fair share of hype.
Fifty Shades of Grey
Whether it's good or bad, this one has been super hyped. I haven't read it and don't think I will, either. Nothing against it, my mom read them and didn't really like them, so I'll just take her word for it.
The Book Thief
Haven't seen the movie, either. I know several people who loved this book so much they try to collect every edition of it. Crazy. I want to read it, but I don't know if I'll get to it any time soon.
The Rest of the Bloodlines Series
I loved Vampire Academy, and I loved the first Bloodlines book, but I've not gotten around to the rest of the series. My next huge series to tackle is Heroes of Olympus, so after that I plan to just buy the rest of this series and hard core binge read it. Cheers!
Red Queen
From the reviews I've seen, you either love this book or hate it. I'm intrigued to gauge my own opinion, but will probably wait until the paperback release next year. It was certainly super hyped earlier this year.
Snow Like Ashes
I see this one on Tumblr all the time. I did pick it up and do plan to read it, but I can't say exactly when. It's right up my alley and I've only heard good things.
These Broken Stars
I remember when this came out- I thought it didn't sound very interesting at all. But now, after hearing all these great things and it getting super hyped, I'm really interested. I'll need to pick this up soon!
To All the Boys I've Loved Before
I've recently started my first Jenny Han book (The Summer I Turned Pretty), but this duology has been getting all the love lately. That has to do with the sequel having just dropped and I do hope to read it soon, after all the positive love it gets.
The Kiss of Deception
I see this one around Twitter a lot and picked it up a while back. I keep meaning to get to it, but I'm a little daunted for some reason.
Anything by Rainbow Rowell
Am I crazy? The answer is probably yes. I don't even own one of her books! I don't really know which one to start with, either. So if anyone has a favorite they think I should read first, let me know!
What's on your list this week?
As for Rainbow Rowell, I'd say go with Fangirl first. :)

I look forward to it! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'm not sure if I'll ever read 50 Shades. Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. I still haven't finished Breaking Dawn. I started it the moment it was released. Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I'm not the only one who deviated! I haven't ready 50 shades or Twilight. I'll have to figure out some more for next week's post!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing what you pick!
DeleteI haven't read any of these either! I have heard lots of great things about The Book Thief, but I just never feel up to such a depressing story. That's the same reason I haven't read TFIOS either, and probably never will.
ReplyDeleteEverything about Book Thief just has an air of sadness, so I totally agree. Maybe someday in the distant future I'll get to it. Thanks for stopping by :)
