I love coloring. It really relaxes me. I have the
Enchanted Forest and I absolutely love it.

Here's the gorgeous cover- it's actually a dust jacket that comes off to reveal a just as nice looking underneath! |

I tried coloring this page with water colors and thought it was turning out rather nicely! |

This is one of my favorite that I've finished! |

This was one of the most relaxing pages to do and I think it looks fantastic! |
I love how, now, there are coloring books from every corner of pop culture for people to enjoy. A Throne of Glass coloring book is coming out in September (yes, it's been preordered), Harry Potter coloring books have been coming out every couple of months (I have one waiting for me at home), and now Marvel has several planned for later this year. I'm rather excited for all of them!
I think it's interesting that this is a new trend. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, I think it's phenomenal! I just love that it's become a thing that's been spreading.
Do you color? Do you have a coloring book? Are you excited for the Throne of Glass coloring book? Let me know in the comments!
My mom loves coloring, but I’ve never tried it. Maybe I should.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
You definitely should they're rather relaxing!
DeleteI do color! In fact, I almost purchased this one! :D I love the water color touch on the page you shared too :D
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware that Throne of Glass was getting turned into a coloring book! That's so awesome; although, I haven't actually read the series, but perhaps this will inspire author's to venture into the same plane?
Aw thank you, I've been thinking about doing some more pages in water color or even just continuing with this one but I haven't had as much time as I would like to work on it.
DeleteI'm rather excited that ToG is going to be a coloring book! I'm pretty sure it's the first YA book to get this treatment. If it goes well I assume we'll start seeing more YA coloring books for popular series, so fingers crossed!
