Book Club Information and GIVEAWAY!

What, a bookclub?  Yes.  In fact you may have noticed the tab at the top of the page that says "Book Club".  I recommend clicking it because it will have the most up to date information most of the time.  The information in this post will be saying many of the same things, but I still recommend clicking on the tab if you're serious.

Basically, New To You: Graphic Novel Book Club is a book club for people who want to try to get into graphic novels.  Or people who like graphic novels already and just want to talk about it with people.  (I'd be part of the latter).

Each month we'll be reading a different graphic novel.  Normally it will be chosen via a vote among all the members of the group, but since there isn't an opportunity for that in this first month I chose East of West Volume 1.  It's one that I've heard good things about.  There will be another post on October 5th, where I'll go more in-depth on what this graphic novel is about and more details on the club.

There's a goodreads group that I really recommend you join because there will always be up-to-date information there.  Click here to be taken to the group.  Hopefully we can get a chat going on twitter, so if you plan to partake use the #New2U.

Before I get to the giveaway, I want to let everyone know I'm looking for a little help with the blog.  I want to have a live-show/live-chat at some point each month.  If you're willing to join me on this, please contact me at tsundokublog(at)gmail(dot)com.  You don't even have to have a blog to join in on this!  The details for said live-show/live-chat are still being worked out, and if you're interested it will help to know in order to work out the details.
